I finished setting up for my solo exhibition at The Helix. The exhibition is titled “What Lies Beneath”. It features a series of 18 original ink drawings and runs from the 22nd June to the 2nd August.
"What Lies Beneath - Study 1". This is an extract from the piece that inspired the title of the exhibition.
"Sea-Shell - Study 1" is one of the ten depth studies on display at The Helix.
The work on exhibit features a combination of abstract and representative pieces and is inspired by patterns that occur in nature. Ten of the eighteen works on exhibit are Depth Studies. These pieces feature multiple layers of cut paper placed on top of each other, giving the work a three dimensional effect.
Located on the first floor foyer of The Helix is a panoramic exhibition space dedicated to showcasing the work of up-and-coming Irish artists.
I will be holding my summer exhibition at The Helix, Glasnevin. The exhibition titled "What lies beneath" features a series of 20 original ink drawings and runs from the 21st June to the 2nd August.
