Harmonic Fields is the latest exhibition from Irish artist Anthony Wigglesworth. The exhibition consists of a series of twelve large abstract oil paintings that explore the compositional connections between music and art.
‘I have created a body of work that draws inspiration from my musical background. I chose the name Harmonic Fields to put a musical reference in the viewer's mind before they even see the work. Each painting was created with compositional music theories of rhythm, harmony, balance applied to the artworks’.
